Description: One flower and one partially opened flower on an 18.0-cm inflorescence borne on a 22.0-cm natural spread single growth plus an immerging growth plant of 10 leaves up to 12.0-cm by 3.0-cm, strap shaped to oblong, apex rounded in a 8.13-cm square plastic in a fine bark and volcanic rock mix; dorsal sepal white, veined green proximally, lightly tessellated lavender-rose distally, margin ciliate, reverse white, veined green proximally, lightly tessellated lavender-rose and blushed distally, veins ciliate; synsepal white, veined green proximally, veined lavender-rose distally, reverse white, veined green proximally, veined lavender-rose and blushed distally, veins ciliate; petals white, veined green medially, marginal veins lavender-rose, margin lightly blushed lavender-rose, undulate, ciliate; pouch yellow-green veined olive green, tessellated olive green near rim, veins ciliate; staminode yellow-green, superior half tessellated dark green, inferior half dark lavender-rose; substance firm; texture Matte; Paphiopedilum fairrieanum, award 20162009, has been confirmed to be Paphiopedilum fairrieanum by SITF (April 2016).
